Call for Papers
Journal of Business and Economic Studies

The Jounal of Business and Economic Studies (JBES) is the official peer-reviewed journal of the Northeast Business & Economics Association (NBEA).  The journal is published online as a Gold Open Access journal. 

The journal recently returned from a 3-year hiatus of publishing and have released volume 22(1), which can be seen at https://jbes.scholasticahq.com.  We are now readying the next issue and therefore are initiating this call.

The Journal of Business and Economic Studies seeks high-quality research papers in ALL AREAS of business for Volume 23, issue 1, targeted for publication in April of 2019. We would like to have all submissions for this issue submitted by Dec 31, 2018 in order to give us time for a thorough review and for any necessary revisions.

The journal publishes original empirical and theoretical papers, case studies, and book reviews.  The journal is listed in Cabell’s Directories, AEA’s EconLit, Proquest and EBSCO databases. All submissions are double-blind peer reviewed and our target is to have initial reviews done within two months.
